The dental implant technique originated in Sweden and has been practiced successfully for the past 30 years. More than a decade ago, the dental community in Toronto was one of the first in North America to adopt this technique. Since that time it has been implemented and refined so successfully that it has changed the way the dental profession thinks about replacing missing teeth. It has become the standard of care.

Until recently, replacement of missing teeth had consisted of fixed bridges or removable dentures. However, not all patients can adjust to partial or complete dentures, nor have suitable strong healthy teeth to support bridges. It is for these groups of people that Osseointegrated implants have evolved to become an effective, versatile method of support for replacement teeth.

The implant technique can provide improved chewing efficiency, better digestion, comfort, and convenience, improved appearance, permanence and reliability. For more information Please click on the links below
