Dr. Roy Mathew grew up in Fort McMurray. He attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1985.

Roy practices general dentistry and has a special interest in oral surgery. In 1986 he began performing extractions under general anesthetic at an outpatient surgical facility. He continues this practice today at Surgical Centres Inc. at their brand new location. Besides owning and working out of his own dental clinic, Dr. Mathew sets aside time to come to McKenzie Dental once a month for surgical appointments and consultations.

When he’s not working at the two offices, Dr. Mathew can be found with his family, or on the golf course.
