Dr.
Park’s commitment to saving maximum amounts of healthy
tooth structure led him to providing Lumineer Veneers to his
patients. This technology employs a 0.3mm, contact lens thin
porcelain veneer, with little or no shaving of the patient’s
enamel. He is always happy to provide Direct Resin technology,
which involves applying advanced composite resin to a tooth
whereby no enamel shaving is necessary.
Since 2003, Dr. Park has been utilizing CEREC
3D, the one appointment onlay and crown technology. CEREC 3D
is a computer generated
CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing)
technology that can make tooth colored restorations in just
one appointment.
In the beginning of 2007, Dr. Park completed
the Nobel Biocare Mentorship Program to surgically place
implants right here
in our office. In addition, he attended the Implant 1 and
Advanced Computer Guided Implant programs at LVI (Las Vegas
Institute).
This training has allowed Dr. Park to perform bone and ridge
preservation procedures, as well as advanced implant placements.
The availability of 3D CT Scans and bone grafting techniques
allow for more predictable, safer implant placements than
ever before.
Dr. Park maintains memberships in many of
the leading organizations in dentistry. He feels that it is
of the utmost
importance
to learn and practice the latest in dental advancements
and technologies,
for the benefit of all of our valued patients.
Among the memberships that Dr. Park maintains are the following:
• Alberta Dental Association
• Canadian Dental Association
• Academy of Laser Dentistry
• American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
• Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation
